LIGHT OF ASIA

Exhibition theme: "The World of Asia through the Eyes of Artists"

The exhibition project brings together on one platform the works of contemporary artists, designers, sculptors, photo artists of the large Asian area and of course Russia. From India and China, Nepal, Pakistan to the former Soviet republics of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, as well as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Turkey and other Eastern countries.

This is the first attempt to combine and show on one platform the traditions, culture, spirituality of the countries of the Far East, Central Asia, Central Asia, Southeast Asia and the countries of the Middle East through the work of Russian and foreign artists within the framework of the exhibition project in the Center for Contemporary Art "ART-COMMUNA" on Kievskaya (Moscow) under the auspices of the Eurasian Art Union and information support of other creative unions.

PROGRAM

The project includes:

Presentations by leading art historians, curators, honored guests, and the project participants themselves. Live music. Theatrical performances, dances.

Master classes:
Master classes by artists working in different techniques of contemporary art.

Round table "INDIA THROUGH THE AGES":
Presentations by orientalists. Reports by experts on spiritual practices, traditions, instruments, jewelry. Discussions, consultations with masters.

Head of the Photo-Art and Multimedia Section of the Eurasian Art Union, Vice President of the TETRA-ART CU, Honored Artist of the MA "Art of the Peoples of the World", member of creative unions: TSHR, Union of Abstract Artists of Russia, MA "Union of Designers" and the Eurasian Art Union.

Artist, photographer, traveler, explorer. Participant of multiple ecological, ethnographic expeditions in the regions of Pamir-Alai and Central Pamir (1980 - 1992). Participant of creative expeditions in Northern India, the Himalayas, Little Tibet (2010, 2012). Curator of the exhibition of Russian art in New Delhi (2023). - Honorary Member of the International Academy of Contemporary Arts (MASI). Corresponding Member of the Italian Academy of Quantum Art IAMAQ, . Honored Figure of the MA "Russian Culture". Vice President of the CU "TETRA-ART", member of the Presidium of the Eurasian Art Union. Member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, MA "Union of Designers", Union of Abstract Artists of Russia (SABROS) and other associations.

Organizer and director of the legendary exhibitions "New Era" on Kuznetsky Most in the Moscow House of Artists (2000-2005). Member of the public scientific association "Protohistory". Co-organizer and participant of the oldest exhibition of symbolic esoteric and surreal art "Geysers of the Subconscious" organized by Andrey Nekrasov.

Exhibition and fair

"Light of Asia" will be held in the format of an exhibition and fair - all works can be sold. Convenient location of the exhibition hall, in the historical center of Moscow, inside the Garden Ring. The Art-Commune Gallery is located on the 4th floor of the TGC "Kyiv", half a minute's walk from the metro station "Kyiv"

Competition

Participants of the Light of Asia project participate in the exhibition and competition simultaneously. The presented works are evaluated by leading representatives of esoteric communities in Russia and foreign countries, as well as famous masters, art historians and producers whose professional interests include studying questions of consciousness, existence and secret signs and symbols.

Diplom

Participants receive diplomas as winners or participants of the project.

A creative space for exhibitions, fashion shows, lectures, filming, meetings and special VIP events in the TGC "Kyiv".
The exhibition space as a laboratory of contemporary arts - the Art-Commune Gallery - occupies an area of 500 sq.m. in the loft style. Various exhibitions and presentations are held here. The space accommodates up to 500 people, with the possibility of organizing up to 200 seats.

The Art-Commune Gallery is a resident of the Eurasian Art Union.
